This was Brad's request for his birthday cake. We think this is the best cheesecake ever. It doesn't need any topping at all. I am posting this at the request of my neighbor! Enjoy Steph!
Crust:
2 cups crushed Pecan Sandies Cookies (about 14)
2 T. Melted butter
2 T. sugar
Press into bottom of a 9 inch buttered spring form pan. Wrap outside of pan in aluminum foil.
FILLING:
3 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups (1 pint) sour cream
1 cup (1/2 pint) HEAVY whipping cream
3 T flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Mix cream cheese, gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beat after each. Add remaining ingredients.
**after I make crust, I start the mixer and keep it running all the time while making filling.
BAKING:
Pour filling into pan. Bake at 350* for one hour. Turn off oven. Leave in oven for 1 hour with door closed. Refrigerate overnight.

budget recipes
I got a really really good deal on ground beef two weeks ago. This week has been a ground beef recipe week. They've turned out to be pretty good recipes! I'm trying to see how long I can go on $134.00 worth of groceries. Two weeks and still going!!!
Monday we had GROUND BEEF HASH
1 lb ground beef
2 T beef bouillon powder
1 cup water
potatoes
carrots
Brown the beef and drain. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until potatoes are done.
Tuesday we had MEATBALL SUBS.
Wednesday we had SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS with the leftover meatballs. I also used the leftover buns from the subs and made garlic bread.
Today we are having BEEFY ONE POT DINNER.
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup thinly sliced carrots
1 cup finely chopped potatoes
1 cup water
1 can (14 oz.) baked beans
1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
BROWN meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Add vegetables; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally.
STIR in water; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until vegetables are tender.
STIR in beans and barbecue sauce. Cook 5 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with cheese.
